Beginner Knit Class Wrington Chapel September 5th/19th/ Oct 3rd/ 17th 7-8.30pm

Tuesday evenings 7-8.30pm fortnighty. A relaxed and fun four-week course of 4 x 90 min classes for up to 8 complete beginner knitters.

Over the weeks I will teach you how to cast on, basic knit stitch and purl stitch. How to do increases and decreases to shape your work and show you the different styles of knitting to help speed up and find the style you prefer . Over the weeks you will have expanded your skill set which will enable you to challenge yourself to more complex patterns. You will also be taught the basics of lace and colour work which I will go in to in much more details in my advanced beginner's classes. We will also cover some textured knitting skills, like shell stitch and even basic cables depending on the class standard. My classes are not only a chance to learn a new skill, but also a way to socialise and have friendly chat with like minded people. Knitting and crochet are very good for mental health as the rhythm of the needles and the focus needed can be very calming.

You will be invited to join my Facebook group which is exclusively for Naomi & Noah students where I share free knitting patterns I find online suitable for your specific standard, and I will guide you through them if and when you need help . As a Naomi & Noah student you are eligible to free of charge, out of class help and advice via email .

Once I have received your booking payment, I will email you the information you need re directions, arrival time, parking, toilets, etc. I will be holding advanced beginner, Intermediate classes following this so you can progress through the different stages with me as your tutor if you would like to.
