Beginner Knitting class at Wrington Chapel Tuesday January 3rd-24th 2023 - 7-8.30 pm

Tuesday evenings 7-8.30pm fortnighty. A relaxed and fun four-week course of 4 x 90 min classes for up to 8 complete beginner knitters.

Over the weeks I will teach you how to cast on, basic knit stitch and purl stitch. How to do increases and decreases to shape your work and show you the different styles of knitting to help speed up and find the style you prefer . By lesson 4 you will have expanded your skill set which will enable you to challenge yourself to more complex patterns. You will also be taught the basics of lace and colour work which I will go in to in much more details in my advanced beginner's classes. We will then cover some textured knitting skills.
Alterknit Universe wool shop in Cleeve is open Thursday to Sunday 11am - 5pm and Kim and Karl are always happy to help you buy needles and yarn! However all equipment and yarn is available to borrow in class. You will be invited to join my Facebook group which is exclusively for Naomi & Noah students where I share free knitting patterns I find online suitable for your standard and I will guide you through them if and when you need help .

Once I have received your booking payment, I will email you the information you need re directions, arrival time, parking, toilets, etc. I will be holding advanced beginner, Intermediate classes following this so you can progress through the different stages with me as your tutor if you would like to.
