Lovely Lacework Workshop 4th July 2023 Wrington chapel 6.45pm-9pm

This introductory class is an ideal next step for knitters who are confident with basic techniques and knit and purl stitches, but want a friendly and enjoyable introduction to lace patterns. Focusing on stocking stitch (stockingette) based patterns, you will learn about directional decreasing, eyelets/yarnovers, and how they combine to create beautiful stitch patterns admired by many knitters and non-knitters alike. Instructions are provided in charted and written form, so you can choose whichever mode suits you if you are unfamiliar with one or both styles of pattern writing. As a result of this class, you’ll feel more confident about knitting lace patterns that you choose outside the classroom.
